When I feel down, I don't feel like I can possibly go into college. I turn off my phone, ignore my friends (who I love and care about), don't go into work, and avoid everything and everyone. I can lie in bed sleeping and crying for hours or days. If I go out, I don't enjoy it at all, and everybody I talk to seems to just annoy me or make me upset. I stop caring about my schoolwork, and find it impossible to get any homework done. Sometimes I injure myself on purpose and give myself bruises.
Usually, I'll be in one of these moods for a few weeks, then I seem to go back to my normal self for a while before switching to the other one! My mum thinks I'm just being a stupid teenager! (i'm 17) - I don't have the best relationship with her, and she doesn't care about me at all. My dad refuses to speak to me, since we had an argument 12 months ago, when I was in one of my 'up' moods.
